Are you Personally Effective? ......... Prove it !

Last part of this unit requires you to reflect and evaluate on what you have done.  I sent out some 'sizzling' SQA style Review Task sheets last week [*irony mode*] but what do they mean?

Here's some ideas on what you'll need to cover:  

How well did you carry out your self-awareness and interpersonal skills review?  Could you have done anything differently? (and better?)

What about your SWOT - did you reflect the strengths and weaknesses from your self-awareness and interpersonal skills audits?  Were your opportunities and threats thought through?

Now review your Action Plan.  Did it focus on important skills?  Were there any goals that you now feel you should have included?  Were any of your goals a bit irrelevant to personal effectiveness?  Did you identify suitable actions and write them up as SMART targets?

You should be able to carry out this part of the review now as all these activities should be complete.

Going forward, review and evaluate your implementation of the action plan.  Did you follow the plan exactly or did you have to make any changes?  If so, why?  Has your plan had an impact?  How far did the plan help you to improve your personal effectiveness?


Completion of the Implementation stage and Review and evaluation is Monday 23 March 2015.  You should submit a well organised Portfolio folder  to me in the Terrace Floor Staff Workroom.
